Professional Competency 1
_ I have applied this competency when teaching my private lessons as well as during my practicums, I have always acted professional by keeping my private life out of my teaching and have shared my knowledge of culture and language skills with my students.
Professional Competency 2
I am a native speaker of English and French, seeing as I have acquired both languages before the age of 4. Therefore I consider myself competent in teaching English as a first or second language and reporting to my students' parents in either French or English with ease.
Professional Competency 3and 4
I am capable of creating learning activities based on students' interest and modifying them according to the level of knowledge of different students. The activities I create are based on developing the MELS three competencies, as seen in the previous pages.
Professional Competency 8
_ I have created learning activities integrating information and communications technologies with the goal of motivating as well as placing students in authentic contexts and to give a new perspective of ICTs; by which students can learn to use technolgy as a productive learning tool rather than just a product of pure entertainment.
Professional Competeny 11 and 12
As mentioned previously I always act professional and ethical in all situations I have also worked with teams and found it to be fruitful and pertinent. As a future teacher I believe that teachers should be a reflection of knowledge and should act as a model of great citizenship.
